Yes. I’m so fed up with reading official updates on the Blog.us site with all the mindless whining that accompanies it ‘When y’all gonna make with the in game XMB already?’ We still haven’t been informed that such a thing will even exist in Europe! I can assure you now, Sony, that if you were to let ME know of future updates, my replies would be much more positive. Is it because we don’t complain so much that we don’t get as much information?
By the way, where’s the poll?

1. The game looks incredible in the playable sections. I don’t know what you’re talking about. Did you even take the time to look at the environments? If there’s one thing people can agree on it’s that the game looks great, no doubt there.

2. If you took the time to actually play the demo more than once or if you read more than one review you’d realize that this isn’t a button mashing game. It’s about timing and finesse. Like in Sigma, if you take the time to learn the combos the game is much more fluid and fun to watch.

3. No button for block eh? R3 dodges and triangle counters, now you want another button set aside for block too? 3 buttons dedicated to defense in a game where you are expected to kill everything. Now I do understand it can get annoying and it makes the game harder, but maybe you need to adjust your playstyle? This isn’t GOW. People need to give this game a chance before condemning it.

Well people who bash other consoles and call good games disspointing are call FANBOYS, such as DICK. I really enjoyed HS and i think it is a great game. Gears Of War was short, but no complained about it.

Grow up people and learn to make up your own mind, and not trust every review, becasue at the end of the day, review is just an opinion of some one who has played the game with coffee or a sig in his/her hand in a busy office.

You see… who talks bad about HS are only M$hit fanboys. Same things since ever and for the other PS3 games. Even if it’s $d or 5D or a totally virtual experience, for a M$ fanboy it’s still a bad game cause it’s on PS3. I hate that, really…

What the f**k is the dissapointment?

So far heavenly sword has gotten reviewed by 13-15 different gaming sites.

1 of them was a perfect 10

more than 7 of them were in the 9 score

and only two of the reviews were below the 8 score.

How the hell is that a dissapointment? Someone please tell me because Im DYING to know

Whoever says the game is terrible (like the ass above) is totally full of themselves. Completely. Even egm magazine of all people gave the game very high scores.

Heavenly Sword is a game that deserves the poor ratings it is receiving. Ever since the demo has been available, two things became 100% clear about Heavenly Sword:

(1) Heavenly Sword has “Playable” in-game graphics that are disappointing compared to the “Non-Playable,” cut-scene graphics that Sony had been showing off. People care about how good the graphics are when the game is being played much more than the cut-scene movie nonsense. And, the FACT is that Heavenly Sword is NOT impressive in the area of “Playable” in-game graphics.

(2) Heavenly Sword has “Button-Mashing,” gameplay. There is literally no “Block,” button in Heavenly Sword. If you try and react to the attacks of your enemies, you will end up DEAD. You are literally better off smashing buttons without taking the time to think about which buttons are being pressed. This is something that Edge and IGN both mentioned in their disappointing reviews.

Summary: There is no doubt about it; the fact of the matter is, Heavenly Sword is a game that has failed to live up to the hype. Heavenly Sword really is a BIG disappointment, and the FACT is that the reviews of very reliable sources prove that Heavenly Sword isn’t anything special…it is too short, and it isn’t fun.

I think this game will definalty ROCK.
After 6 to 10 hours i usually get bored (Attention Deficit)so the 6 hours gameplay is not a factor for me.

Good Action , Good Graphic , cool story line and anime. This franchise is a winner.

I have to agree with Vince123456 i am sick a tired of weird bias reviews out there. I think these “expert” have put the bar way to high when reviewing games from the ps3. THey think that ps3 games are suposed to be so much better than the 360 somehow, Even when the game are identical the ps3 version get a lower score.

Play the game and stop crying.
LET THE REAL GAMER SPEAKUP !!

The game is great and the reception has been overall really good. A must buy to complement the ps3’s dry exclusive list.

Having played the demo, downloaded the animations, watched the review videos. My point of view, as a gamer for over 20 years …. I think this game deserves at least an 8.8/10.0
It is an excellent game. Never mind the unprofessional reviews and bias opinions. It is a great game …..with good story and great replay value ….
